Хірургічне відділення

The surgical department of the Central Polyclinic of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine provides a full range of medical-diagnostic and preventive care to patients with surgical, urological, proctological, orthopedic-traumatological, oncological diseases. In the staff of the department the reception is conducted by surgeons, orthopedists-traumatologists, proctologists, urologists, oncologists, endoscopists. The surgical department includes a surgical hospital with a short stay of patients, in which the following surgeries are performed:

• laparoscopic cholecystectomy;
• hernioplasty;
• removal of tumors (lipomas, papillomas, nevi, etc.);
• urological operations;
• orthopedic and traumatological operations (reposition of fractures with osteomethalosynthesis, removal of metal structures, Dupuytren's contracture, reconstructive operations for Hallux valgus, etc.);
• proctological (modern method of treatment of hemorrhoids with the help of THD device (transanal hemorrhoidal dearterization), treatment with Hemoron, etc.).

Surgical interventions are performed under local, general, conduction, epidural anesthesia. In the postoperative period, round-the-clock monitoring is carried out by an experienced team consisting of an anesthesiologist and a nurse. Also to the surgical department the following researches are carried out:

• fibrogastroduodenoscopy;
• colonoscopy;
• bronchoscopy.

All surgical interventions and diagnostics are performed on modern medical equipment, which is constantly updated and improved.
